Etoile hat

Finished my first handspun hat ^_^ Had to knit it almost twice because my head is small and didn't fit the pattern but after ripping back to round 32 and re-inventing the pattern from there without the extra increase rows it fits perfectly ^_^ I might have already started knitting another :p

Friday wonders - wrightales' mobius mitts

I love to see new mobius mitts appear - particularly when they are made from interesting yarns.

Wrightales (visit on Ravelry) used a wool/bamboo combination for this pair of mitts - the edging is Plymouth Yarn Royal Bamboo Italian Collection (100% bamboo). I think they're lovely :)

Have been watching 'The Guild' lately - lots of fun.
There's some lovely handmade etsy fan items too - so I made a collection of them combined with Dr Horrible because that's awesome too :)

Twined mitts with blue firestar highlights

Just finished and added to etsy:

One of a kind twined gloves made from a blend of my handspun yarn sourced from Inspiration Fibers with little highlights of bright blue firestar amid cream and brown wool combination, and Bendigo black yarn.

These gloves are double stranded which means they have no stretch and are sadly just a bit too small for me :(

**Yarn**
Handspun: cotton, bfl, peruvian wool, shetland and firestar
Black: pure Australian wool

**Size**
xtra small
16cm / 6.25in circumference around fingers & wrist
16.5 / 6.5in long

These are the result of my happy stranding discoveries post

Ruins

Finally convinced myself to sell these > the medium/large pair I knitted while writing the pattern. They're too big for me but I kept holding onto them :p

The zun upon the grassy vloor,
An’ weakly-wandren winds did blow,
Unhinder’d by a door”
