“Do but listen for a moment to the wind in this unnatural valley while we speak so low” (The Signalman – Dickens)

Worked very hard most of the day to get this pattern finished - I really like how it turned out. I think I will be making myself a pair of these for this winter when I next get a moment :)
The straight rib and twisting cable design of these gloves inspired the title and theme of this pattern.

Update 2011: all doctor who patterns now available free on my patterns page

I worked very hard yesterday and finished my first Doctor Who pattern.
I listed on Etsy about midnight and went to sleep, and when I woke up someone had bought it! What a lovely way to wake up!
I will be adding several more Doc patterns as soon as I can get them finished.
This is the one I sold:

Hello,
After recently joining DUST (Down Under Street Team), who are having a Lion themed sale for August, I decided to try and create something small to fit the theme.
This is my little lion, who would be great either as something to brighten up your desk at work/home, or as a toy for the kids to throw around/juggle.

He is crocheted from yellow and red yarn, and measures about 8cm (3inches) head to tail.

He will be available at my etsy shop this month :)
