This month has been all about unicorns! Gifts for some very special babies - great fun to make.
Thanks to @kimtairi for the unicorn inspiration!
Over the holiday season we received some lovely Dutch sweets and treats from Tim's colleagues in the Netherlands. To celebrate the release of Oni Labs' Conductance, we decided to post something fun back in response - plushie versions of the company logo - Onis!
I invented a little prototype, then crocheted four Onis, one for each of the team.
At the last minute I created a little camp fire to represent their community logo. I was happy to hear that all the Onis made it safely across the skies ^_^

This week I'm celebrating 100 Ravelry projects for my Eleventh Doctor Big and Cuddly (crochet) pattern ^_^
Many thanks to all those who have taken the time to upload or email photos of their creations. It's a lovely way to finish Matt Smith's era, with an army of crocheted Doctors protecting the universe with woolly mops and fezzes. I've loved seeing all the other non-Eleventh Doctor characters people have created also.

Update June 2015 - Peter Capaldi and War Doctor have now been included in the pattern.
Hi everyone, exciting news today :)
I have rewritten and combined the existing mini doctor patterns into one, and added the missing Doctors 2, 6, 7 and 8 :)
Thank you to those who gave permission for images and advice to be used - it made this possible :)
For Ravelry members
You will find that projects that were originally added to a specific Doctor’s page have been merged into the one pattern. This is for ease of management and to help with browsing through all the wonderful and inventive projects.
I hope you enjoy the updated pattern and look forward to seeing what you create!

Some more lovely projects to feature this morning. A super cute pair - eleven and amy - adapted and crocheted by Kylie (yillup.etsy.com). Jump over and check out her shop for lots of crocheted cuteness. I love the tiny chair matt is sitting in too!

Grab the mini matt pattern from my patterns page
Kelly sent me this pic of her concord singer (see reference pic) based on my big and cuddly pattern. Check out her blog for lots of geeky crafty goodness and some more pics of the plushie.
Hi all,
I've now added in MrsNorris' great extra for creating a snow topped Tardis. The Christmas tree Tardis pattern has now been updated to include the below image and a guide on how to create your own snow.
Thanks MrsNorris!

Hi all,
Realised recently that there were some errors in the rose pattern add-on, I have now fixed these and also fixed the formatting to match the other patterns in the series. Linda's add-on has inspired lots of cute versions including martha and some dark swan plushies (which I hope to show you soon).

Much love goes into each plushie, and the hair 'wig technique' is the most amazing taking up to 4 hours: "I wrap a bunch of yarn around my hand (for the DT dolls, for the Jack ones I just use three fingers since his hair is shorter) and snip it across the top to create a bunch of short (~ 8 1/2 inches/21 cm) strings. Then I weave one strand around one stitch, then secure it using a surgeons knot"
She's even made a kilted cudly of David Tennant:

After my posting spree during the Christmas holidays I thought it might be good to try and keep this up a little by pre-scheduling some weekly posts. One idea I had was to feature some more projects made from my patterns - there are more and more of these appearing and they make me so happy to see!
Thanks to all those who have sent me photos or linked their projects on Ravelry!

Finally Jack won't be lonely! Took me a little one to write this one up as I didn't take very accurate notes when making his vest, but he's here at last :)

Make your own cuddly Torchwood pair Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones) and John Barrowman (Jack Harkness). These easy to crochet plushies are perfect to snuggle up to while watching Torchwood and Doctor Who :p Ianto's smile is very hard to pull off with yarn, so am looking forward to any other plushies people create!
