Twelve - Peter Capaldi

"Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame. Whatever the cost." (The Day of the Doctor)

Happy 2014!
This week I'm celebrating 100 Ravelry projects for my Eleventh Doctor Big and Cuddly (crochet) pattern ^_^

Many thanks to all those who have taken the time to upload or email photos of their creations. It's a lovely way to finish Matt Smith's era, with an army of crocheted Doctors protecting the universe with woolly mops and fezzes. I've loved seeing all the other non-Eleventh Doctor characters people have created also.

Update June 2015 - Peter Capaldi and War Doctor have now been included in the pattern.

Hi everyone, exciting news today :)
I have rewritten and combined the existing mini doctor patterns into one, and added the missing Doctors 2, 6, 7 and 8 :)
The pattern now contains a basic crochet pattern for the body, followed by an embellishments section for each Doctor.

Thank you to those who gave permission for images and advice to be used - it made this possible :)

For Ravelry members
You will find that projects that were originally added to a specific Doctor’s page have been merged into the one pattern. This is for ease of management and to help with browsing through all the wonderful and inventive projects.

I hope you enjoy the updated pattern and look forward to seeing what you create!

Hi everyone!
Just a little update on this. Last time I showed you ilwin's cute phone cosy - we got chatting and I wrote up a knitted version to share with those who don't crochet (yet :p). If planning on knitting you might want to grab the crochet one too as it's got the pretty pics.

Some cute drwho items popping up on etsy:

Flip top mitts featuring Matt Smith’s bowtie and favourite fez. This pattern idea to me in a flash and it made me laugh, so I just had to write it up - I hope you laugh too! Mitts flip towards front of hand & fasten with buttons so as not to obscure bowtie ^_^ enjoy!

After my posting spree during the Christmas holidays I thought it might be good to try and keep this up a little by pre-scheduling some weekly posts. One idea I had was to feature some more projects made from my patterns - there are more and more of these appearing and they make me so happy to see!

Thanks to all those who have sent me photos or linked their projects on Ravelry!

Oh no - I just saw this image and realised my Matt Smith plushie doesn't have suspenders! So now I've added some, and added them to the pattern too

Not quite in time for the new series but close enough! A new pattern for Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor! I loved the new episode :) and wanted to have this out to celebrate.

Download the pattern from the Patterns page as part of the Mini Doctor Who's pattern.

I know the shirt colour is wrong, but there weren't many pics out when I first started the plushie so wasn't sure what was to be the final costume. The pattern has the correct pinky-red colour.

I've also just finished listening to BigFinish's UNIT series with David Tennant in the final episode - great stuff!
So here's a pic of Matt taking over the role - awww
