Hi,
ReplyDeleteI love all your crochet items I think the mitts look great in the grey and red, very wintery
I already follow your blog in google reader, since I found you when making one of my Etsy Aussie treasury
These are so fabulous! I really love your grey and red combo - that would have been my first choice, but I think they would also look cute in a white and teal combo or a grey and kelly green combo!

I follow your wonderful blog!
Love this mitts!!!
ReplyDeleteI´m more of a girly girl I think red+pink would be great, also (not so girly) lime green with turqouise, I think I feel since they are for winter, summer colours would be a great cheer up!
Thanks for the opportunity!
And new follower! (110th)
I love purple knits in the winter, so I would say purple and white. I have always loved the mobius design. This is a great idea.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteLove the grey/red look. Very fall winter. Like your mitts design very much.

ReplyDeleteOooh, what a neat design! I think they'd look fabulous in light green with purple edging, like an iris flower-- or, in keeping with the season, pine green with cranberry red edges, like a tree decorated for the birds!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I follow! Can't miss the mini-Doctors!

I'd love a pair in red with white and green trim!
ReplyDeleteI think black/gray mitts will be awesome. But I also love the gray/red once.
ReplyDeleteThese mitts are just perfect - I would be able to continue to work (painting), while I wear these mitts.

Christina - xristya@rock.com - What a GRAND idea, the Moebius Mitts! I think the red and dark gray look VERY good together, and perhaps you might want to throw in a bit a black with these two also! Keep up the amazing work!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some hot pink and black Mobius Mitts!

I love simple colors that match a lot of things, so I'd say like an ivory/cream with black/grey or something like ivory and navy blue - either way, these are awesome! I could really use something like that for winters between Colorado, Minnesota, and Portland, OR - where I'll be spending my time this year!

My colour suggestions are a dark red, brown and an orange.

I think it would be especially cool if you changed the colors every so often, like a gradually changing black to white. Be difficult but probably look very, very sexy! =D
ReplyDeleteAlternately, I'd like to see a brown and forest green set! =D
Ack, I forgot my email.

These are fantastic, maybe it's the geek in me, but I would love them in any of the Harry Potter house colors, preferably a silver gray and green!
ReplyDeleteI think a two tone brown or charcoal and a lighter grey would be nice. Good 'ol neutrals that would match with anything!

Hi! I tried to make the pattern and found it easy. But now that's it is made I can't figure out how to wear it! I made the left mitt and can't seem to fold it correctly. Any suggestions? Thanks, Em
ReplyDeleteHi Em,
ReplyDeleteI just replied to you on ravelry I believe, but in case anyone else is interested I'll reply here too.
The mitts can certainly be a bit of a challenge to put on. The key is just finding the thumbhole and being guided by that, then arranging the other parts of the glove once your thumb is in.
I’ve uploaded some pics that might help, let me know if they don’t - i’m actually tempted to make a video tonight and that might make it clearer and fun for other people having trouble
Left Hand

Step2: http://twitpic.com/2sd6zn
Right Hand
Step1: http://twitpic.com/2sdbpo
Step2: http://twitpic.com/2sdc3u
Even though the pattern labels the gloves as left/right you can wear them on either hand. It’s all about just getting your thumb into the thumb hole and then arranging it so it’s comfy from there. Feel free to let me know if you’re still having trouble :)

Those are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI think those would look great in black and purple or in black and red. =)

I just found this pattern through the tardis ornament pattern and I'm super excited to try it out. I've been looking for a good fingerless glove pattern. I think it would look good in blue and lime, but I love bright colors.
ReplyDeleteBetween the awesome patterns and the hooping, I'm definitely going to follow your blog now. Once I figure out the google thingy, anyhow.
My all time favorite color combination is black/white/red. This is such a COOL pattern...I can't wait to make me a pair of these! Thanks for creating such a unique mitt. After 4 wrist surgeries, mine like to be covered up in the winter. Thankfully, crocheting has been some of the best therapy for my wrists. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Love these! I think they would look cute in black/camel or brown and cream.
